IWCAN Mission Statement
The International WaterCentre Alumni Network is a global community of practice that promotes and supports the implementation of Integrated Water Management.
The IWCAN envisages people joining as a community of practice to share and create knowledge for the purpose of producing outcomes and innovating in the field of integrated water management.
In the spirit of the International WaterCentre education program approach to using visualisation to demonstrate ideas, the visioning subcommittee has designed a conceptual framework to illustrate the vision of the IWCAN, identifying key stakeholders, activity areas, and long-term objectives:

IWCAN’s global board of directors undertook strategic planning for the first time from March-May 2012. The outcome has been a strategic planning directions report that identifies the three key strategic areas of the organisation through 2015:
Each of these strategic areas has an associated workplan. If you’d like to help us with implementing the strategic areas, please send an e-mail to email@example.com or contact a IWCAN board member.
